Executive Chef Gohary is responsible for the creation of Good Karma Restaurant’s fresh and unique menu mix. As Chief Operating Officer, Houman manages all aspects of the daily restaurant operations and directs the growing Catering wing of the Good Karma business.


Along with his family, Houman has been a resident of Park City, Utah for fifteen years and comes to this world famous mountain resort town following 30 years of acclaimed international culinary experience and corporate responsibilities with such industry icons as The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company and more recent the Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center at the Canyons Resort, the flag ship resort of American Skiing Company in Park City, Utah.

Chef Gohary tenure with Ritz Carlton took Houman to open and operate food and beverage outlets for Five Star Hotels in Osaka, Shanghai, Barcelona and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Chef Gohary was selected as Corporate Trainer in Ritz Carlton San Francisco and helped to achieve San Francisco’s only Five Star, Five Diamond hotel property at the time and first hotel to receive Malcom Baldrige Quality Award.

After working with and perfecting blended and fusion dishes for years, Chef Gohary has returned to hs Persian roots of purity and simplicity with a mission to supply flavorful, healthy and nutritious cuisine for the discriminating global traveler and athletic health minded lifestyles of our local community to utilize seasonal organic products where ever is possible. Chef Gohary’s Good Karma Restaurant’s dishes are pure; the atmosphere is fusion. Houman looks forward to sharing his talent and knowledge of unique recipes with Park City locals and visitors and continues to volunteer his time and the restaurants’ capacity for local community events, fund raising activities as well as numerous private functions.

Chef Gohary has been the Host Chef on NBC’s Today Show during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Park City, Utah and for the2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. Chef Gohary has also appeared on the Discovery Channel, Food Network with Rachel Ray and on PBS television as well as many local and state broadcasting.
